Code of Conduct
1. Act respectfully towards the umpires. Never argue with, backchat or direct abusive language towards an umpire. If you disagree with an umpire, approach the umpire during a break or after the game in an appropriate manner.

2. Control your temper. The following are not acceptable or permitted:

a) Verbal and physical abuse of officials or other players

b) Deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent

c) Rough, dangerous or violent play

3. Play fairly and within the rules at all times.

4. Respect the facilities and equipment provided:

a) Do not kick the balls

b) Do not drop litter/take your litter with you

c) Always return your bibs/ balls

d) Keep the noise level down

5. Avoid use of derogatory language

6. Be a good sport. Acknowledge all good players whether they are on your team or the other team.

7. Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, bully or take unfair advantage of another player.

8. Co-operate with your team mates and opponents. Without them there would be no competition

9. Play for the 'fun of it' and not just to win. BNB is primarily about enjoyment and participation

10. Be prepared to lose sometimes. Be a fair winner and a good loser

11. Respect the rights and consider the safety of other participants

12. Never ridicule or yell at another member for making a mistake or losing a game.

13. Recognise the importance and value of coaches/umpires who may be giving up their time voluntarily

14. Recognise that the health and safety of all members is paramount

15. Promote this code of conduct to other members
